Manic Depression Condition_symptoms Are Manic Depression And Bipolar Disorder Really The Same Thing?

Are manic depression and Bipolar disorder really the same thing? - manic depression condition_symptoms

I was diagnosed with manic depression three years ago. I stopped taking drugs after six months because I do not like what they do with me.

I had problems with my luck lately MD - it's worse. The mood swings for no apparent reason. Google has been seeking alternatives to medication for bipolar depression and everything that has arisen from a prescribed for bipolar disorder.

I knew that both were similar - but they are really the same?

Yes, they are two names for the same illness. Manic-depression is the former name of the so-called bipolar disorder. The professionals have decided to throw the name "Manic Depression" or "manic-depressive disorder" for bipolar disorder, because it more closely. Not all forms of causes episodes of bipolar mania - bipolar II had no manic symptoms, but the patient has "manic" or "sub-manic" episodes. Hypomania Cyclothymia also has these functions, as well as fewer episodes of major depression. Because of the different types of the disease, is the name of "Manic Depression" misleading and inaccurate, it was changed to bipolar disorder.

Hope that helps clarify things!
